And the hits keep on coming…

My last blog entry referenced several local newspaper articles featuring schools with new SmartLabs.  No sooner did I hit the “publish” button than this Englewood Herald article crossed my desk.

We’re definitely all jazzed about the new SmartLab at Englewood High and our new partnership with this Denver area school district.  I had the privilege of watching several Englewood students see the lab for the first time.  We knew it was going to catch on quickly, but it was still a lot of fun to read this excerpt from the article:

Another student, Austin Hulsey, said he heard people talking about the lab but was still very surprised when he visited the classroom for the first time.  “I like the challenges here in the lab well enough I have stayed after more in the last two weeks than I have since I came to the high school,” the junior said.

Now that’s what we like to hear!
Oh, and just to clarify, the $1 million refers to a broader pool of technology funds, NOT the cost of the SmartLab!
