MidAmerica Industrial Park Provides Funding for Area SmartLabs

MidAmerica Industrial Park (MAIP) in Pryor Oklahoma has joined a growing list of corporate and private foundations providing funding for SmartLabs in their local schools.

MAIP is the largest industrial park in the state of Oklahoma and is home to more than 80 companies - from small manufacturing and service enterprises to global leaders like Google. 

MAIP has committed $1.2 million to fund STEM labs in five local school districts. "Our goal is to create a pipeline of highly trained workers who possess the skills, attitude and characteristics needed by our employers, said Dave Stewart, Chief Administrative Officer for MAIP.
