Oklahoma High School Students Shining in Innovative STEM Program

Inola High School, in Oklahoma, is one of the many area schools with a SmartLab sponsored by MidAmerica Industrial Park (MAIP). They recently made a great video showcasing the students' experiences in their STEM program. Students in the video say they they've gained more problem solving skills, self-discipline, trial and error experience, and are able to shine more in the STEM environment than in the traditional classroom. Bank Sponsors Huge STEM Lab and Broadcast Studio in Indiana Middle School

To support Bill Welling's goals, a regional bank, Teacher’s Credit Union (TCU), has agreed to pay $30,000 per year for exclusive naming rights to the new SmartLab at John Young Middle School in Mishawaka Indiana. The TCU Innovation Lab at John Young Middle School officially opened with the start of school on August 14th.
