Our partnership with Englewood School District continues to expand and evolve.  We have long been proud of our work with the District and our partnership role in their innovative STEM initiatives.  Englewood has become a national model for next-generation STEM initiatives and was featured in Scholastic Administrator magazine's Back to School 2014 issue. Slavens K-8 SmartLab Facilitator Selected Siemens Fellow

Congratulations to Slavens K-8 Facilitator Courtney Miller!  Courtney has been selected 2014 Siemens STEM Institute Fellow by the Siemens STEM Academy.  Courtney will be representing Colorado as one of only 50 Fellows selected nationwide to participate in this prestigious summer program.  Slavens K-8 is in Denver, Colorado and is part of Denver Public Schools.  The Slavens SmartLab serves students in grades 3-8.

Karen Durfee Winner in Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Contest

Congratulations to Jordan High School SmartLab facilitator, Karen Durfee!! Karen is state winner for Utah in the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow contest. Karen was honored for her "innovative approach to advancing interest in STEM among your students as well as making an impact in your community". As Utah state winner, Karen will receive a minimum of $20,000 of Samsung equipment for her school with an opportunity to earn more in the national competition phase.  Wow!!
